The J-2350 is a member of the J-series services router family, based on JUNOS. JUNOS is a highly stable, modular software platform that delivers high throughput with the flexibility to easily add advanced features for routing, QoS, security and management without performance impact.

The segregation of routing engine, routing services and packet forwarding engines make this a great performing system at high traffic loads. The segregation of functions also means resiliance in the event of a failure of any one component.
